PHILIPPI, W.Va.– Elon University men's basketball coach Ernie Nestor will be inducted on Friday as one of four new members in Alderson-Broaddus College's Battler Hall of Fame.
Nestor, a 1968 graduate of the West Virginia school, is entering his 29th year of coaching college basketball and his second season at Elon. He played both basketball and golf at Alderson-Broaddus. He coached high school basketball for nine years before entering the collegiate ranks.
Other inductees of the Battler's Hall of Fame 14th class are soccer players Richard Eaton ’86, Larry Goodrich ’71 and Pete Tarasi ’71.
Alderson-Broaddus is a Division II program and a member of the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic conference.
