One of the youngest women's basketball teams in the nation in 2017-18, defending CAA champion Elon University welcomed six freshmen to the program over the summer. Take some time to get to know the newcomers with a six-part series that helps you get to know a little more about the six new players fans will watch throughout Elon's final season in Alumni Gym this year. First up in the series is a 5-10 guard from Orlando, Fla., Ariel Colon!

"Public Health."

"My favorite TV show is SpongeBob SquarePants because I've watched that since the day I was born."

What is your favorite color?
"My favorite color is green."

Who is your favorite professional athlete?
"LeBron James."

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
"Still playing basketball."

What is your favorite holiday?
"My favorite holiday would have to be Christmas, especially this year because I finally get to see snow. And presents."

Season tickets for the 2017-18 campaign, the final season in Alumni Gym, are on sale now through the Elon Ticket Office.
