ROUND TWO RESULTS (PDF)

PALM CITY, Fla. – Elon University men's golf is currently in third place and four strokes back of the lead after completing the second round of the UNCG Martin Downs Collegiate on Monday, Feb. 12, at Martin Downs Golf Club.
 
Elon (287-285--572) is currently four strokes behind co-leaders UNCG and Seton Hall after 36 holes of competition. Jake Leavitt paced the Phoenix on day two turning in a scorecard with a four under-par 68 following the second round. William Harwood remains in the top-five on the individual leaderboard as he is tied for fourth and three strokes behind Gregor Tait of Seton Hall.
 
HIGHLIGHTS
Leavitt put together Elon's best round with six birdies and two bogeys en route to a four under-par 68. He jumped from a tie for 50th to a tie for 23rd on the individual leaderboard after round two. Harwood kept himself in the hunt for the individual title on Monday shooting a one over-par 73 and is tied for fourth heading into the final round.
 
Additionally, Pat Frodigh and Quade Lukes each scored a two-under 70 during the second round. Frodigh is tied for 11th and Lukes is tied for 16th after Monday's round.
 
Charlie May remains in the top-30 and is tied for 27th on the individual leaderboard. Philip Loeb is in a tie for 32nd and Dustin Blank is tied for 39th overall as Elon prepares for the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
 
UP NEXT
The Phoenix will complete the final round of the UNCG Martin Downs Collegiate on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Elon will tee off starting at 8:20 a.m. with the maroon and gold's last tee time slated at 9 a.m.
