ABOUT THE PHOENIX
The Phoenix last competed in the Rod Myers Invitational, hosted by Duke on Sept. 11-12 in Durham, N.C. Elon finished 14th in the team standings and was led by senior William Frodigh, who tied for 41st with a seven-over par 223. Elon was just a few holes shy of completing the opening round of College of Charleston's Battle at Briar's Creek on Sept. 20, but inclement weather forced the tournament to be canceled.

"Our last event down in Kiawah was rained out, so we haven't competed in nearly a month," added Hill. " In the meantime we've had three good weeks of practice and preparation and we expect to go out and execute our game plan at Alamance. The guys are chomping to tee it up tomorrow morning."

LAST TIME AT THE PHOENIX INVITATIONAL

Next was Bronson Myers, finished two under with 211, while Dustin Blank and Max Ferrari both carded a one-over 214 to tie for 33rd.
