2023-24 (Junior): Competed in all 11 tournaments…Averaged a team-best score of 71.50…Posted 20 rounds of par or better… Shot three sub-par rounds to finish tied for third at the Allstate Streamsong Invitational to start his fall season…Finished in a tie for 45th place at the JT Poston Invitational with a 4-over par 217…Tied for 23rd place with a 222 (+6) at the Williams Cup…Carded his low round of the fall (65) en route to a third place finish at the Phoenix Invitational with a 204 (-9) and was named CAA Co-Men’s Golfer of the Week…Was Elon’s top finisher at the Bryan National Collegiate tying for fourth place with a 6-under par 210 earning his second CAA Golfer of the Week honor…Opened his spring season tying for 27th place at the 36-hole Battle at Briar’s Creek and tied for 34th place at the Palmas del mar Collegiate with an even-par 216…Carded one round under par at the Tiger Invitational to tie for 10th place with a 224 (+8)…Tied for 17th place at the Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational with a 4-over par 220…Had his fifth top-10 finish on the season at the Cutter Creek Invitational where he finished tied for tenth after carding a 3-under par 213…Had his best career finish at the CAA Championship where he finished third after carding a 12-under par 204 recording the best score in tournament history by a non-medalist…Was named to the All-CAA First Team and CAA Championship All-Tournament Team.

2022-23 (Junior): Competed in 12 tournaments...Averaged a score of 71.79 per round (+0.03 to par)...Carded 17 rounds of par or better...Started season by pacing Phoenix at the VCU Shootout, posting an 8-under par 208 to tie for 17th...Shot a 5-over 218 at the JT Poston Invitational to finish in a tie for 28th place...Broke Elon's tournament-scoring record with a 199 (-13) to win the Phoenix Invitational, including signing for Elon's lowest round of the fall with a 63 in the second round; helped the Phoenix defend its team title at the event...Led Elon at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate by tying for 12th with a 2-under 214...Concluded fall with his fourth top-15 result, placing in a tie for 13th at the Grandover Collegiate with a 3-under 213...Tied for seventh at the Battle at Briar’s Creek with a 1-under par 215...Finished in a tie for 18th at the Ross Collegiate Classic...Tied for 16th at the Stitch Intercollegiate for with a 36-round total of 3-over par 145...Finished his season at the CAA Championship where he tied for 11th after carding a 3-over par 219...Was named to the All-CAA Second Team. 

2021-22 (Sophomore): Played in all 10 tournaments for the 2021-22 seasons • Led the Phoenix with an average score of 72.00 and a +0.21 score vs. par • Had 23 of his 29 rounds counted towards the team score • Finished the year with six Top-20 finishes, five Top-15 finishes and four Top-10 finishes • Recorded a pair of two-under 69s and added a round of 68 to tie for seventh at the Phoenix Invitational with a 206 (-7) • Opened the Grandover Collegiate with a four-under par 68. He followed with rounds of two-under 70 and a one-over 73 to tie for sixth at 211 (-5). He led the team in the tournament with 14 birdies • Shot a pair of two-under par 70s en route to a sixth-place finish at the 2022 CAA Championship. Risner added a 73 for a 54-hole total of 213 (-3). He and teammate Juan Callejo Ropero led the 45-player field in par-5 scoring (4.42) and both made 12 birdies to lead the maroon and gold.

2020-21 (Freshman): Did not compete.

Before Elon: Ranked in the Top 10 in North Carolina for 2020 golfers, Risner earned 2018 All-State Second Team honors while helping his team to Conference and Regional titles in 2018 and a second Conference Championship in 2019 • A team captain in 2019 and 2020 for 2019 Coach of the Year Terry McNeill, he garnered All-Conference nods in three straight years from 2017-19, Team MVP honors in 2017 and 2019, and his school's Patriot Sportsmanship Award in 2018 • Posted the lowest scoring average in team history and holds his school's record for lowest score in a match • Won the TYGA Bojangles Junior Open, placed third in the 41st Pinehurst North and South Junior Championship, and tied for 10th at the 70th Carolinas Junior Boys Championship • Captured the 16th Dogwood State Junior Boys' Championship with a 10-under par 206 • Tied the course record at the Club at 12 Oaks after shooting an 8-under 64 in the second round of the 11th North Carolina Amateur. He tallied nine birdies on the day.
