BURLINGTON, N.C. – Elon University men's golf won its home tournament with a 31-under par 821 and Pedro Rabadan finished tied for first following the final round of the Sixth Annual Phoenix Invitational on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at Alamance Country Club.

"I'm beyond proud of this team," said head coach Don Hill. "They've worked extremely hard these past few weeks in preparation, and it paid off in a big way."

Elon's A team posted a one-over par 285 on Tuesday to win its home tournanent by nine strokes with an 821 (-31). Appalachian State finished 22-under par with an 830 to secure runner-up honors, while Longwood and Radford tied for third with nine-under 843s. Elon's B team then took fifth place, tallying a 54-hole total of 847 (-5).

HIGHLIGHTS
After shooting rounds of 65 and 66 on Monday, Rabadan carded a one-over 72 to conclude the Invitational. The Madrid, Spain native made 13 putts for par with birdies on the par-5 sixth and 17th holes.
