ELON, N.C. – The Elon University women's track and field team returns to action this week as the Phoenix is set to compete at the prestigious Raleigh Relays hosted at NC State. The three-day meet is set to begin on Thursday, March 25, and will conclude on Saturday, March 27 at the Paul Derr Track & Field Facility.

• Live results will be provided and can be found on the program's schedule page at elonphoenix.com along with a recap and results at the conclusion of the meet.
 
Schedule of Events
• The meet will begin on Thursday with the field events as the women's pole vault will kick things off at 10:00 a.m.
• Track events will begin on Thursday at 2:15 p.m. with the women's 100-meter hurdles prelims and conclude at 9:20 p.m. with the women's 10,000-meter run.
• Friday's field action will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the women's discus and conclude with the men's triple jump at 2:00 p.m.
• Friday's track events will open at 3:30 p.m. with the women's 400-meter dash and conclude with the men's 10,000m run at 9:25 p.m.
• The final day of competition will open with the men's hammer throw at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 5:55 p.m. with the men's 4x400-meter relay.
 
Last Time Out
• Elon competed at the Bill Webb-Bob Davidson Memorial meet hosted on the campus of High Point University last weekend, March 19-20.
• Melissa Anastasakis won the 1,500-meter run with her time of 4:35.34. Hannah Preeo was fifth in the race with her time of 4:41.24. In the 800-meter run, Gabriela Varisco de Oliveira was third overall with a time of 2:15.59 followed by teammate Stephanie Lair and her time of 2:16.32 in fourth and Anastasakis in fifth at 2:16.87.
• Kathleen Collins took first in the women's discus throw, tossing a distance of 44.97m. Kristine Strazdite was fifth overall with her mark of 40.89m.
• In the women's 4x400-meter run, Elon was fourth overall with a time of 3:52.37 posted by the quartet of Aliya Barrows, Piper Jons, Varisco de Oliveira and Riley Drometer. In the pole vault, Madison George was fifth overall with her cleared height of 3.78m.
