ELON, N.C. – Elon University Athletics and head women's basketball coach
Charlotte Smith announced the team's full 29-game schedule for the 2021-22 season on Friday, Sept. 17.
"We are excited about our nonconference schedule and are preparing for the challenge ahead," said Smith. "We have teams on the schedule that will definitely be in the top 25 in the nation in NC State and South Carolina. We have a good mix of in-state rivals that we will host that include N.C. A&T, NC Central, Davidson and Gardner-Webb. We are looking forward to the start of what will be a great season!"
With the announcement of the team's 2021-22 schedule, season tickets for the upcoming season are on sale now. Courtside tickets are on sale for $55, combo tickets are available for $190 and general season tickets are also on sale for $40 (women's). For more information about ticketing, visit

Elon will begin its 2021-22 campaign on the road at High Point on Nov. 9 prior to hosting Howard in its home opener on Nov. 15. Other home contests in the Phoenix's nonconference slate include matchups against North Carolina A&T (Nov. 22), NC Central (Nov. 29), Davidson (Dec. 12), Gardner-Webb (Dec. 20) and Francis Marion (Dec. 30). Elon will also be on the road at Richmond on Nov. 18, South Carolina on Nov. 26, NC State on Dec. 5, and UNCG on Dec. 15.
The Phoenix kicks off its conference slate on Jan. 2 when it hosts William & Mary and concludes its regular season on March 5 when it visits the Tribe in Williamsburg, Va. The schedule will return to a traditional home-and-home, round-robin format featuring 18 conference games after last season was modified to accommodate the challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Elon will then compete in 2022 CAA Women's Basketball Championship presented by Primis at the Atlantic Union Bank Center on the campus of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia beginning March 9.
