Women’s Basketball Announces Full 2024-25 Schedule

ELON, N.C. – The Elon University women's basketball team and head coach Charlotte Smith announced its full 2024-25 schedule on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 17. The slate is highlighted by 15 home games and 15 road contests, including a pair of Power Four opponents in the University of Southern California and Virginia Tech.

The Phoenix will open the season at home in an exhibition matchup against Winston-Salem State on Nov. 1, before kicking off the regular season at home against High Point on Nov. 4 and Gardner-Webb on Nov. 8.

A trip to Marshall on Nov. 13 sees the Phoenix on the road for the first time before returning to Schar Center to host Kent State on Nov. 16. Elon will then travel to Blacksburg, Va. on Nov. 23 to play ACC foe Virginia Tech and continue their road swing at Longwood on Nov. 26.

A week later, Elon hosts Furman on Dec. 4, followed by a trip to intrastate foe East Carolina on Dec. 8. A two-game road swing to California kicks off with a contest against USC on Dec. 15, followed by a game versus Long Beach State on Dec. 19. The Phoenix closes out its nonconference slate with a home game against Lees-McRae on Dec. 31.

Elon opens CAA play traveling to fellow in-state rival North Carolina A&T on Jan. 3 and closes out its league-opening weekend on the road versus William & Mary on Jan. 5. The maroon and gold then play three straight home games with contests versus Hampton (Jan. 10), Stony Brook (Jan. 17), and Hofstra (Jan. 19).

After road trips to Delaware (Jan. 24) and Drexel (Jan. 26), the Phoenix hosts William & Mary (Jan. 31) and Monmouth (Feb. 2) to open the second half of the league slate. Elon then makes a trip north, traveling to Towson on Feb. 9.

After traveling east of I-40 to UNCW on Feb. 14, Elon's next three games will be at home against Campbell (Feb. 16), Delaware (Feb. 21), and Drexel (Feb. 23). The maroon and gold close out the month on the road at Charleston on Feb. 28.

The Phoenix hosts North Carolina A&T on March 2, before closing the regular season at Northeastern (March 6) and Monmouth (March 8).

The 2025 CAA Women's Basketball Championship will occur from March 12-16 at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C.

CAA matchups and all home games will be available on FloHoops, in addition to the final of the 2025 CAA Women's Basketball Championship being televised on CBS Sports Network.
