- This will mark the first all-time meeting between the Phoenix and the Battling Bishops.
STARTING FIVE
1. Depth Drives Dominant Win
- The Phoenix snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 4-7 overall after showcasing a dominant performance on both ends of the floor in a 58-41 win over Norfolk State.
- Corbett and Walker both shot 50% from the field on the way to a team-high 14-point efforts.
- Quinzia Fulmore turned in her second double-figure rebounding effort of the season, pulling down a team-leading 11.
- Balanced perimeter scoring saw six Phoenix players knock down at least one three-pointer, with Tyana Walker leading the way at 3-for-4 from deep.
- Maraja Pass orchestrated the offense with a team-best five assists, marking her fifth outing this season with five.
- The Phoenix dominated the boards, out-rebounding the Spartans 47-25 overall, including an 18-10 advantage on the offensive glass – Elon's eighth game this season controlling the offensive boards and a season-high in that category.
- All 11 Phoenix players who saw the floor contributed to the scoring.
- Elon matched its season-best from beyond the arc offensively, connecting on 50% (9-for-18) of its three-point attempts.

- Elon is a top-15 team nationally in three-point percentage defense, ranking 12th in Division I and limiting its opponents to just 24.2% shooting from three-point range.
- The Phoenix has held seven of its 11 opponents to shooting 25% or worse (22-132 total) from beyond the arc, leading the CAA.

3. Strong Inside, Been Here Before
- Quinzia Fulmore, a graduate transfer, and Corbett, a sophomore transfer, have played in the CAA before, providing the Phoenix with an experience boost among their newcomers.
- Fulmore is a powerhouse inside and continues to lead the Phoenix on the boards with 6.0 rebounds per game, which tied for 14th in the CAA. She is also tied for 23rd in the CAA in blocks per game (0.6).
- Corbett leads the Phoenix offense with seven double-figure scoring games this season while averaging a team-high 10.5 PPG, leading the team five times this season.
- The duo led the team in scoring at Georgetown on Nov. 24, both scoring in double figures for a combined 22 points.
- Corbett is sixth in the conference in field goal percentage at 43.9% and is also tied for 11th in the CAA, averaging 1.6 steals per game.
- Fulmore led the Phoenix at UNCG, shooting a perfect 100% (3-for-3) from the field and making a career-high six free throws.
- The duo helped seal a dominant victory over Norfolk State, with Corbett sharing the team lead with 14 points, while Fulmore recorded her second double-figure rebounding performance of the season with a season-high 11 boards.
4. Walker In Motion
- Tyana Walker joins Corbett and Fulmore as a transfer on the Elon roster after spending her last two seasons at Howard, where she was named 2024 MEAC Rookie of the Year and was selected to the All-Rookie Team.
- Walker scored a season-best 22 points to lead the Phoenix in a loss against Tulane on Nov. 27 at the Paradise Jam, shooting 50% (8-for-16) from the floor and 67% (6-for-9) from the three-point line. She was named to the All-Tournament Team for the Harbor Division at Paradise Jam.
- Walker nearly notched a double-double in the season opener at ETSU, finishing with nine points and a career-high 11 rebounds.
- She leads the team with 18 made three-pointers, ranking 11th in the conference, and averages 1.6 per game. She also ranks sixth in the conference in three-point percentage (36.7%).
- Walker reached double figures for the third time this season in the win over Norfolk State, sharing the team lead with 14 points while shooting 75% (3-for-4) from three-point range.
5. Bench Boost
- Elon has the best scoring bench in the CAA, averaging 25.9 points per game, which also ranks 59th nationally.
- Freshmen Ashanti Fox and Tamia Watkins provide the spark for the Phoenix as the team's leading bench scorers. Fox averages 6.8 PPG while Watkins averages 5.9 PPG.
